Product re-brand
Branding of a generic active to position it as the lead brand following ‘first-to-market’ registration in canola.
The challenge
Rustler is a selective herbicide that had been recently registered for use in canola.
The client wanted a distinctive brand that stood out from competing generic brands, represented the name of the brand, and that was identifiably for use in canola.
The solution
The re-brand involved creating a logo and brand imagery to distinguish Rustler from other generic products.
The illustrative style of the branding, drawing upon imagery arising from the product name, is not commonly used for agricultural products. The result was a distinct ‘look and feel’ across a broad sales and marketing material rollout that made it stand out from the pack.
The product website, built for easy access to all supporting guides, downloads and information, soon ranked #1-3 for key search terms.
